WE PLANET Contest: We Planet – 100 globes for a sustainable future
We Planet is a project that makes use of the creativity of designers, artists and students of the Milanese academies, called to interpret the concept of sustainability by confronting each other through an unprecedented installation: a large globe made of eco-sustainable material.
From 4 to 19 September, INTERNI presented Creative Connections: a series of installations, designed by the greats of the project and created by cutting-edge companies that interpret the dream of a better world. Three themes were developed: –Care (in design, in production processes, in the use of materials and in the subsequent application of the circular economy); –Sustainability (in the sense of being conscious and as an indication of method, a creative and productive attitude that is fundamental for those who design, do business, invent and experiment) –Mobility/Speed (in both a real and . . . “Established by Triennale Milano in 2007, the Museo del Design Italiano is dedicated to the promotion, conservation and documentation of the history of Italian design. At present the Museum presents a selection from the Permanent Collection of Triennale Milan, consisting of over 1,600 pieces belonging to our institution. The exhibition highlights the central role that Triennale has had since its foundation in the definition, development and showcase of Italian design. Products, graphic and photographic materials of the International Exhibitions, collected in our archives and often unreleased, are on display to tell our almost 100 year history. The selection is organised chronologically and it covers one of the most important periods for Italian design: from the immediate post-war years and the subsequent economic boom to the early 1980s, when the appearance of new vibrant movements such as Memphis triggered a new era in design production, in Italy and worldwide. Someone called it a “Miracle of nature”, others a “symbol of relisience”, for us it is pure poetry and the confirmation of how nature is always able to surprise and amaze us even in the most unthinkable ways.

(Wikipedia) Credit photo vaifrominoretti.it
We met “by Giulia Donati” brand at the fair. It was a casual encounter, from all points of view. We were “cooked” and we were earning the exit, to return home, when we were struck by his objects from the “toshape” collection and by the kindness and sympathy of the designer, Giulia Donati. We took some pictures, which we hope you enjoy and we are happy to have been able to get to know a young brand and above all 100% Made in Italy.
A day off in Turin, visiting, drinking a coffee, taking some pictures and having a chat with our friends at the GM Drum School.
I met Gigi Morello thanks to an acquaintance in common, but I must say that I got to see him at work, along with Giulia Cardia, on the occasion of the important “Torino Rock all’Amatriciana”…
A day off in Sesto San Giovanni, visiting (by appointment only) the GALLERIA CAMPARI. Today, the Campari group is one of the most important in the world for beverages.
The Gallery is locate inside the original brick building set in the Campari headquarter. The guide was amazing… really passionate about his work, very kind and helpful. Do you remember when as a child someone told you a fairy tale? And you listened, enchanted and enraptured by the story? It really has been just like this!
I met Mark Wade on Twitter. On the occasion of our decision to review his cd “MOVING DAY” of the Mark Wade Trio.
Anyone who knows me knows that despite being an omnivore in terms of music (I listen to so many genres) I am neither an expert nor a music critic. I never will be. That’s why I collaborate with people who are undoubtedly more prepared than me.
Also, to penalize me further, there is the fact that I don’t have a natural predisposition for jazz… Alas, I admit it.
But… I always listen to everything, I am not prejudiced and I assume that “you never know” who or what can give you an emotion. And music is emotion.
